Heide-Marie Lauterer

Heide-Marie Lauterer (born April 19, 1952 in Heidelberg ) is a German historian and author .

Life

After graduating from the Elisabeth von Thadden School in Heidelberg- Wieblingen , Lauterer studied German and history. She then worked as a teacher for German and history at various schools and universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate. Her doctorate at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg took place in 1990. From 1991 to 1994 Lauterer was a lecturer in the theological faculties of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Universität Hamburgin ecclesiastical history, from 1991 to 1994 lecturer at the theological faculty of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg for the research project "Resistance, Persecution of Jews and Church Struggle" and from 1998 to 1999 lecturer at the historical seminar there. From 2001 to 2009 she worked as a research assistant at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and worked on the Max Weber edition.

Her dissertation on the subject of charity for the national community , a study on deaconesses in the time of National Socialism , was published in 1994. A history of parliamentarians in Germany 1918 / 19–1949 followed in 2002. With this study, she won the 2001 Wolf-Erich-Kellner- Price .

Lauterer has been a freelance writer since 2008.
