Wolf Erich Kellner Prize
The Wolf-Erich-Kellner-Preis of the Wolf-Erich-Kellner-Gedächtnisstiftung has been awarded annually since 1966 for works from a wide variety of disciplines, in particular the humanities , social , legal and economic sciences , which are in the interests of the historian and archivist Wolf Erich Kellner “ treat the basics, history and politics of liberalism in German, European and non-European countries in a scientifically valuable manner . The contributions can deal with theoretical, historical and contemporary issues or deal with the shape and development of contemporary liberalism in politics, economy or culture. "
The prize is named after the German archivist, historian and FDP politician Wolf Erich Kellner (1930–1964) and is administered in trust by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom for the Wolf Erich Kellner Memorial Foundation; Fiduziar is the head of the Archives of Liberalism Ewald Grothe . The prize money is 2,000 euros.
