Helmut Schnorr (born July 19, 1929 in Großrechtebach ; † November 14, 1975 ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Schnorr worked as an industrial clerk at Buderus in Wetzlar .

politics

Schnorr was from 1965 to 1974 chairman of the FDP district association in Wetzlar, from 1967 to 1975 a member of the state board, deputy state chairman of the FDP Hesse and from 1972 to 1975 a member of the FDP federal board . From 1960 to 1974 he was a member of the Wetzlar district council . From 1970 until his death in 1975 he was State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry of Economics under Heinz Herbert Karry . Schnorr died of heart failure while on a business trip to South America.

Schnorr was from 1969 to 1972 chairman of the Society of Friends and Supporters of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation . From 1969 to 1974 he was a member of the Advisory Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation . For a time he was a member of the board of trustees of the Wolf-Erich-Kellner Memorial Foundation . Schnorr gave arguments in 1971/72 . Liberale Zeitung für Gießen und Wetzlar published every four to six weeks.
