Charles Dunne (born February 13, 1993 in Lambeth , London ) is an Irish football player who is under contract with Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership .

Charles Dunne was born in 1993 to an English father and Irish mother in the London borough of Lambeth . He began his professional football career in 2011 with the Wycombe Wanderers in the third division in England. For the team from the city 50 kilometers west of London, he completed 44 league games in three seasons. From August 2013 he was under contract with Blackpool FC for three years . A day after his engagement, he was loaned to the Wycombe Wanderers for a season. A loan to Crawley Town followed from February to May 2016 . From 2016 to 2017 he played at Oldham Athletic . In June 2017 he moved to Motherwell FC . With Motherwell he reached the final of the Scottish League Cup in his first year, which was lost to Celtic Glasgow .

Charles Dunne played once for the Irish U-21 national team against the Faroe Islands in a qualifier for the 2015 U-21 European Championship in the Czech Republic on November 15, 2013 .
