Jermaine Samuel Hylton (born June 28, 1993 in Birmingham ) is an English football player who is under contract with Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership .

Career

Jermaine Hylton began his career with the Kidderminster Harriers about 25 km southwest of his native Birmingham . During his youth he moved to Birmingham City , next to Aston Villa the largest club in the city in the West Midlands . In 2009, Hylton was in the finals of the Sky1 TV talent show Wayne Rooney's Street Striker .

From 2012, Hylton played for Redditch United in the Southern Football League . In January 2015 he moved to the English third division club Swindon Town . On January 12, 2015, Hylton played for Swindon for the first time when he replaced Andy Williams in the 87th minute in the 3-0 win over Coventry City . Three months after his professional debut, he scored his first goal in April 2015, which also meant the winning goal against Peterborough United . From October 2016 to January 2017 the striker was loaned to the AFC Guiseley in the National League .

From July 2017 he was under contract with the fifth division Solihull Moors for two years . He then moved to Scotland for Motherwell FC .
