Liam Francis Peadar Donnelly (born March 7, 1996 in Dungannon ) is a Northern Irish football player who is under contract with FC Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership .

Career

Liam Donnelly began his career in the city of his birth with the Dungannon Swifts . In the 2011/12 season he completed seven games in the top Northern Irish league for the club. In 2012 he came to Fulham FC . For the club from London he played exclusively in the junior area and the reserve team. From July to October 2015 he was loaned out to Crawley Town from the fourth division in England and was used ten times. After another year at Fulham, fourth division Hartlepool United signed him in 2016 . He was relegated with the team at the end of the 2016/17 season . After a season in the National League , 22-year-old Donnelly moved to FC Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership in June 2018 .

National team

Liam Donnelly played for the Northern Irish U-16 and U-17 national team until 2013 . In November 2012 he was first used in the U-21 against England . In June 2014 he made his debut in the senior national team against Chile after for Corry Evans came off the bench.
