Sherwin Dandery Seedorf (born March 17, 1998 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch football player who is under contract with FC Motherwell in Scotland. He is the nephew of former football player and current coach Clarence Seedorf .

Career

Sherwin Seedorf began his career in his native city of Rotterdam. Until 2012 he played in the youth teams of Feyenoord , then three years for the Excelsior . Seedorf was active at NAC Breda between 2015 and 2016 before moving to England in 2016. For a year he first played for the Nike Academy there in Burton-upon-Trent , which was sponsored by the sporting goods manufacturer of the same name .

In January 2017, Wolverhampton Wanderers signed him after a trial session. For the Wolves he completed 17 games for the U23 team until the following year and scored three goals. In June 2018, Seedorf was awarded to English third division club Bradford City for six months . For the club he made six league appearances, five of them as a substitute. Another loan to Spanish third division club FC Jumilla followed in January 2019 . Here he played nine games without a goal.

In July 2019, Seedorf moved to the Scottish first division club FC Motherwell . He made his debut for Well on July 13, 2019 in a 3-0 away win over Queen of the South in the League Cup , in which the left winger also scored his first professional goal.
