The hamlet is located at an altitude of 175 to 215 meters above sea ​​level between Eulenberg and Hanfmühle on the slopes of the Westerwald .

history

According to statistics from 1885, 37 inhabitants lived in 10 houses in Heide at that time.

In 1910 there were the households Ackerin Henriette Büllesfeld, scrap fitter Johann Dienspel, Ackerer Michael Dinspel and the quarry workers Johann Anton and Josef Eulenberg, Heinrich, Johann, Jakob and Peter Halm.

Until August 1, 1969, the village of Heide belonged to the municipality of Uckerath . As part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the town of Heide, was assigned to the then new, non-official municipality "Hennef (Sieg)".
