Heide Pirklbauer-Voitl

Heide Pirklbauer-Voitl (* 1942 in Český Krumlov ) is an Austrian painter , graphic artist and writer .

Live and act

Pirklbauer-Voitl studied at the art school of the city of Linz, (master class painting) with Herbert Dimmel . The artist has lived in Linz since 1946. She has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since 1974 . Her exhibition activities took her to Austrian cities as well as to Germany, Italy and Mexico. Since 1984 she has been a course and workshop leader for drawing, painting and modern Greek. She published stories in the literary yearbook of the city of Linz and in the Upper Austrian literary magazine Die Rampe . In 2000 she was a member of the Austrian PEN Club .
