The Heidenkopf is a 1685 m high mountain near Balderschwang in the Allgäu Alps .
A section of the Rhine-Danube watershed , which is part of the main European watershed , runs from the Hochgrat to the south to the saddle at Scheidwang-Alpe and on over the ridge from Heidenkopf to Siplinger Kopf .
