The Réart flows through the municipality , into which the Canterrane flows. Pollestres is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Perpignan in the north, Villeneuve-de-la-Raho in the east, Montescot in the south-east, Bages in the south, Ponteilla in the west and Canohès in the north-west.
