Heidrun Dittrich (born September 23, 1958 in Meerane ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 2009 to 2013 .

Professional background

Dittrich grew up in Baden-Württemberg and initially worked as a clerk at the employment office . In 1978 she was one of the first seminar leaders in German-French youth exchanges. For the German Salaried Employees' Union (DAG), it was initially a voluntary basis at the district, state and national level, and later full time as a state youth director at DAG Baden-Wuerttemberg since 2001 ver.di . In 1982 she began studying social sciences at the University of Hanover , which she completed with a diploma. At the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover , she completed a second degree as a social worker with a focus on “Female identity in the process of migration”. She then worked as a social worker at IGS Roderbruch . Since 1998 she has been employed as a social worker at the youth welfare office in Hanover.

Political career

She ran for the Left in the 2009 Bundestag election as a direct candidate in the constituency of the City of Hanover II . It achieved 9.3% of the first votes and moved into the Bundestag via number 3 on the Lower Saxony state list . She was a full member of the Family, Seniors, Women and Youth Committee .

Since July 2013 Dittrich has been a member of the Socialist Alternative (SAV) .

For the federal election 2013 she was neither a direct candidate in her federal constituency of the city of Hanover II nor on the state list of Lower Saxony.
