Heike Carpenter
Heike Tischler (born February 4, 1964 in Saalfeld / Saale ), married Heike Weißenberg , is a former German heptathlete .
She reached third place at the GDR championships in 1987. In 1988 and 1990 she was GDR champion. At the European Championships in 1990 in Split, she won the silver medal behind Sabine Braun with a personal best (6572 points: 14.08 s - 1.82 m - 13.73 m - 24.29 s - 6.22 m - 53.24 m - 2: 05.50 min). At the 1991 World Championships , she gave up.
Heike Tischler belonged to SC Motor Jena and SC Neubrandenburg . The trained precision mechanic was 1.75 m tall and weighed 64 kg during her competition time. In the documents on state doping in the GDR that became public after the fall of the Wall , the name of Tischler was found among the doped athletes.
