Heiko Triepel

Heiko Triepel (born July 27, 1965 in Magdeburg ) is a German handball player and handball trainer .

As a player, he was in the squad of SC Magdeburg . He was used in the back center position. Heiko Triepel took over the position of player-coach in April 2002 as the successor to Vlado Stenzel at the newly promoted SV Anhalt Bernburg in the 2nd handball league . He moved from there in the winter break of the 2002/2003 season to SV Irxleben 1919, with whom he played in the Association League Saxony-Anhalt.

At the handball world championship in 1990 he was in the squad of the GDR national team .
