The Heilandskirche Dornbirn is an Evangelical Reformed church building in the central district of Markt in the Austrian city of Dornbirn .

The Vorarlberg congregation was founded with a preaching position in 1907 and raised to an independent parish in 1951.

The foundation stone for the church was laid on May 11, 1930. The church was completed by 1931, on April 19, 1931 the inauguration took place. The parish received the plans of the architect Otto Bartning from the evangelical parish in Schenkenhan in Bohemia (today: Tesařov, part of the parish Kořenov ), whose structurally identical church was built in 1909. The simple building has an octagonal church room with a gallery and a tent roof with a lantern. Four semicircular ideas are added to the octagon , a sign at the entrance, two stairwells and a choir used as a sacristy. The windows are from the stained glass Innsbruck, Tirol. The building of the church cost around 85,000 schillings (around 299,000 euros, adjusted for inflation today).

All four Protestant parishes in Vorarlberg belong to the Reformed Evangelical Church HB. However, these parishes also include individuals who are members of the Lutheran Evangelical Church AB . In terms of their inner constitution, the Vorarlberg parishes are mixed denominational. In Dornbirn there are more individuals who belong to the Evangelical Church AB than the Evangelical Church HB. This led to the so-called Dornbirn dispute in the 1950s : the parish of Dornbirn was to be added to the Lutheran Church, but remained part of the Reformed Church.

The organ from 1931 was from Orgelbau Gebrüder Mayer and was replaced in 2004 by a new two-manual organ with ten registers from Rieger Orgelbau . In the course of the general renovation of the church building from 2003 to 2004, the pews were replaced by free seating. The lights in the tent roof were replaced in 2018 by identical LED lights, and they look in their original state (1931).
