Max Kuna
Max Kuna (born February 23, 1901 in Berlin ; † December 5, 1989 in Bad Kreuznach ) was a German manufacturer of natural cosmetics .
Life
After the Second World War, Kuna came with his wife Herta from East Prussia to Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg . There he had been an authorized officer of the Aok company . After the death of the company owner Wilhelm Anhalt jun. In 1951, Kuna continued to run the business until he sold it to Heyden GmbH in 1973.
In 1988 he donated the Rheingrafenstein Max and Herta Kuna Foundation . On January 11, 1971, he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class. He was made an honorary citizen of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg. A park on the banks of the Nahe in Bad Münster was named after him. On December 5, 2009, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his death, a bronze bust of the Dresden artist Kornelia Thümmel was unveiled in the spa gardens of Bad Münster .
