The Heilmoorbad Schwanberg is located in the market town of Bad Schwanberg in the Deutschlandsberg district in Styria . The former Capuchin monastery with the surrounding wall is a listed building .

history

In 1706, Count Georg Ferdinand Falbenhaupt gave the former official court in Schwanberg to the Capuchins . The monastery existed until 1969. From 1971 to 1973 the monastery was adapted for the healing moor bath.

architecture

The simple two-storey monastery building includes the Schwanberg monastery church and an irregular inner courtyard.
