Heiner Kock

Heiner Kock (* 1990 in Malchow (Mecklenburg) ) is a German theater actor.

Life and work

Kock, who originally wanted to be a musical performer , gained his first stage experience at the open air plays in Waren (Müritz). It was there that the director Ute Lubosch recognized his talent: He could do more than just sing and dance.

Kock studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . During this time he took on roles in Jekyll & Hyde (Musical Comedy Leipzig, 2013), And Then ( Schauspiel Leipzig , 2013). The great march by Wolfgang Lotz, directed by Sebastian Hartmann , in the Centraltheater Leipzig , in which he played various roles, was awarded the ensemble prize of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in 2013.

After completing his studies in 2014, he received his first permanent engagement at the Tübingen State Theater . He gave, among others, the Templar in Nathan the Wise , the Isegrim in Reinecke Fuchs and the Demian in the stage version of Hermann Hesse's story Demian , directed by Dominik Günther . In 2018 he was again at the Leipziger Schauspiel in the world premiere of Actually we should dance (directed by Daniel Foerster). He has been a member of the Lübeck Theater ensemble since the 2018/2019 season. There he was used in his first season in the Threepenny Opera , among other things .

In addition to stage work, Kock works as a voice actor, reads audio books and takes part in readings. He also completed a stunt training.
