Heinrich Ahrens (painter)
Heinrich Ahrens ( October 19, 1805 in Braunschweig - March 3, 1863 in Kassel ) was a German portrait painter and photographer .
Life
Ahrens worked as a portrait painter and photographer in Kassel from around 1829/30, and from around 1850 was a conservator and board member of the Kurhessischer Kunstverein.
He was married to the actress Mathilde Ahrens .
