Heinrich Bacht

Heinrich Bacht (born December 8, 1910 in Essen , † January 25, 1986 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German theologian and professor of fundamental theology at the Philosophical-Theological University of Frankfurt am Main.

His work in the humanities includes publications in the area of early church history and early monasticism , as well as Reformation issues in the Kulturkampf (e.g. Old Catholicism ). He was a member of the Catholic order of the Jesuits ( SJ ) and u. a. Author of the journals Philosophy and Theology ( Freiburg im Breisgau ) and Scholastik .
