Heinrich Balasch

Heinrich Balasch (born March 2, 1899 in Vienna , † in the 20th century ) was an Austrian cameraman .

Life

Balasch began his career as a cameraman for animation, advertising and short films for the production company Julius Pinschewers . With the dawn of the sound film age, Balasch switched to feature films. After a camera assistant at Dreyfus - Movie Richard Oswald Balash was engaged in the same year (1930) as a cameraman. By 1933 he was involved in a number of entertainment films, of which the satire The suitcase of Mr OF was the most important.

When the National Socialists came to power , Balasch initially returned to Vienna and subsequently photographed Austrian and Hungarian films. In 1936 he also made a Swedish production. These films were mostly productions with a high proportion of emigrants. In 1937 Balasch went to France , the following year to Japan . In the early autumn of 1938 Heinrich Balasch arrived in the United States , where he settled. There is no evidence of camera activity there. After his last sign of life in 1941, his track is lost.
