Heinrich Beck (painter)
Heinrich Beck (born December 18, 1788 in Dessau , † March 6, 1875 ) was a German portrait and court painter. He trained as a pupil of Ferdinand Hartmann and began as a court painter and conservator in Dessau in 1818. For the castles in the Dessau area he copied a series of paintings by old masters, and there is also a three-part altarpiece by Beck in the Nikolaikirche in Zerbst .
