Heinrich Burghard I. von Pappenheim

Heinrich Burghard I. von Pappenheim (* 15th century; † February 24, 1547 in Pappenheim ) was governor of the prince monastery of Kempten in Bavaria .

Life

Burghard was the son of Alexander von Pappenheim (1435–1511) and Barbara von Ellerbach. Around the year 1539 he became governor of the prince monastery of Kempten. He continued the branch line of the Pappenheimer to Grönenbach . Heinrich Burghard, who was married to Anna von Hürnheim († May 5, 1567), died in Pappenheim in 1547. A picture above the gallery in the castle church in Pappenheim contains the following inscription:

"Anno Domini 1547 on the 24th of February / as on the thursday / before Inuocauit / the nobleman Hainrich Burckharth died in Bappenheim of the hailigen Rom: / Reychs Erbmarschalck ~~ at night between 9 and 10 years"
