Heinrich Comploj
Heinrich Comploj (also Comploy , born January 10, 1879 in Bludenz , † April 29, 1967 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian painter , graphic artist and teacher .
Life
Heinrich Comploj studied at the Königliche Kunstgewerbeschule Munich and the Kunstgewerbeschule Vienna . He became professor for ornamental and figurative drawing and painting at the Innsbruck State Trade School and was also an artist. He created still lifes , portraits and landscapes as well as commercial graphics such as posters, diplomas, wall calendars and textile designs.
His students included Raimund Wörle , Erich Torggler , Gottlieb Schuller and Gerhild Diesner .
