Heinrich Conrads

Heinrich Wilhelm Conrads (born January 29, 1940 in Billmerich , Unna district ) is a German Ju-Jutsu and Jiu-Jitsu -Ka. He was a co-founder and long-term chairman of the Lower Saxony Ju-Jutsu Association (NJJV) and one of the five carriers of the 9th Dan in the German Ju-Jutsu Association (DJJV).

Life

Conrads first learned to be a miner . When many mines had to close, he turned around. On March 16, 1960, Conrads joined the Federal Border Guard at Eichsfeld . On February 4, 1964, he got to know Jiu-Jitsu while taking a self-defense course . He then began the sport and achieved the first Dangrad in 1967. At the Federal Border Police he taught Jiu-Jiutsu as part of a "mission-related self-defense". He also founded several clubs, including Ju-Jutsu clubs in Nesselröden and Duderstadt , the Judo Club Duderstadt and the Karate Club Duderstadt.

In 1971, together with twelve other people, he founded the Lower Saxony state group Ju-Jutsu. In his long martial arts career he reached the 8th Dan Ju-Jutsu, the 3rd Dan Jiu-Jitsu and the 2nd Dan Kobodu as well as student degrees in Judo and Aikido . For years he worked as an auditor in the Lower Saxony state association. On July 7, 1991 he was one of the co-founders of the Lower Saxony Ju-Jutsu Association and became its president in 1995. He held this office for 20 years and left it on March 14, 2015.

After the reunification of Germany , he was also involved as a trainer and founder of the Thuringian Ju-Jutsu Association. Until 2000, he was there as an instructor of multipliers and coaches active.

In August 2008 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his sporting commitment . On October 17, 2015, he was awarded the 9th Dan in recognition of his services to Ju-Jutsu.
