Heinrich Thinker

Karl Heinrich Denker (* 1857 in Clausthal ; † March 22, 1930 in Osnabrück ) was a German educator.

Life and work

Heinrich Denker came from the Upper Harz , to which he remained loyal until his death, even if he left him early for professional reasons. He was a member of the Harz Association for History and Archeology and has published several times on the historical geography of the Harz. He was considered the best expert on the historical topography of the Harz region.

From 1887 to 1893 Heinrich Denker worked as a teacher at the Royal Andreas Realgymnasium in Hildesheim . He then got a job as a senior teacher at the Royal High School in Osnabrück . He received his doctorate in Göttingen in 1889 and was later appointed professor.
