Heinrich Eder

Heinrich Eder (* 1967 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian sculptor and object artist .

Heinrich Eder attended the sculpture school in Hallein in the early 1980s, class for wood and stone carving with Bernhard Prähauser at the HTL Hallein and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Hans Ladner . He then went to Hamburg and has been working as a freelance artist with a studio in the Sootbörn artist house since 1992 . In addition to artistic work as well as participation in exhibitions and symposia, he conducts courses in sculpture and painting.

Eder's sculptural oeuvre comprises two main areas: free sculptures and objects as well as commissioned work for art in public spaces. In addition, painting, drawing, photography and film are used in his artistic work.

Heinrich Eder lives and works in Hamburg.
