Heinrich Prince

Heinrich Fürst (born December 9, 1907 in Ludwigshafen , † December 23, 2001 in Wuppertal ) was a German actor on stage and television.

Live and act

Fürst had studied law at the universities of Würzburg, Berlin and Munich. This course was followed by a traineeship. Then (1931) he trained as an actor with Kurt Horwitz . Fürst also made his theater debut in 1931 in Würzburg. This was followed by engagements at the stages in Munich (Kammerspiele 1932/33), Stettin (1933 to 1937), Berlin (Schiller Theater, 1937/38), Hamburg (Deutsches Schauspielhaus 1938 to 1941), Düsseldorf (1941 to 1952), Kiel ( 1952 to 1956), Dortmund (1957/58) and finally Krefeld (from 1958). Following this, Heinrich Fürst worked as a freelancer and made guest tours.

The main stage roles played by Fürst included Gessler (from Wilhelm Tell ), Philip II, Herod, Mephisto, Volpone and Wallenstein. Heinrich Fürst did not appear in front of the camera until very late, 1960. He was seen in a number of television games between the late 1960s and the late 1970s - ambitious literary adaptations as well as profane crime films. Fürst also took on dubbing tasks (from 1946 to 1952 in the Remagen studio) and worked for radio.
