Heinrich Fröhle

Gerhard Heinrich Fröhle (born October 25, 1879 in Bünne , † June 20, 1966 in Hammel ) was a German farmer and politician ( center ).

Fröhle, who was a Catholic, was married and had eight children. He lived as a farmer in Mutton. After 1918 he became chairman of the agricultural purchasing and sales cooperative in Lastrup and a committee member of the South Oldenburg farmers' association. He was chairman of the center and a member of the council in Lastrup.

From 1919 to 1928 he was a member of the Oldenburg state parliament for his party . In November 1930 he replaced Bernhard Eckholt in the state parliament and remained a member of parliament until 1932. He was a member of the Administrative Committee the entire time he was a Member of Parliament. From 1925 to 1928 he also served as a member of the shop stewards committee.

After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he lost all honorary posts. In the Kreuzkampf in 1936 he led the 80-strong protest group from Lastrup to Oldenburg. From 1941 to 1945 he was a district farmer leader in the Reichsnährstand . An arrest warrant was issued against him in August 1944 . Although the mayor and the local farmer's leader protested, he was arrested and transferred to the Esterwegen concentration camp in February 1945 .
