Heinrich Frohne

Heinrich Frohne (born January 21, 1928 in Paderborn ) is a German electrical engineer , university professor and specialist book author.

Life

Heinrich Frohne was born on January 21, 1928 in Paderborn. From 1934 to 1942 he attended primary school in Schlangen . In December 1944 he was called up for military service. Shortly before the war, he came in April 1945 in British captivity . After returning from captivity, Frohne did an apprenticeship as an electrician . From 1953 he studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover , where he received his doctorate in 1959 under Heinz Jordan with the dissertation " On the primary determinants of volume in asynchronous machines ". Frohne then worked in the industry in higher positions until 1966 when he joined theTechnical University of Braunschweig was appointed. In 1968 he became a professor at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover and director of the Institute for Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Measurement Technology. Frohne has now retired.

Heinrich Frohne is involved in the electrical engineering standard work " Moeller - Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering ", the 23rd edition of which was published in 2013.
