Heinrich Gries
Franz Heinrich Gries (born November 23, 1807 in Hamburg ; † April 4, 1879 there ) was a German businessman and member of the Hamburg Parliament .
Gries worked as a merchant mainly in Rio de Janeiro and married Henriette Haller there in 1846 . From 1857 Gries was resident in Hamburg again. From 1865 to 1871 he belonged to the Hamburg parliament and was a member of the parliamentary group of the left center . In addition, he was an honorary member of the hospital college from 1862 to 1867 and a citizen of the lower court from 1868 to 1873 . His son-in-law was Julius Reincke .
