Heinrich Jacob Achenbach

Heinrich Jacob Achenbach (* July 3, 1801 ; † 1882 ) was a politician and mayor of the city of Siegen from 1838 to 1862.

Heinrich Jacob Achenbach was one of eight children from the marriage of Eoban Henrich Achenbach (1763–1821) and Agnes Catharina Achenbach, b. Stahlschmidt (1768-1848). He married Johanne Catharine Stauff (* 1818) in Siegen on September 22, 1841.

Achenbach was the full-time mayor of Siegen and also a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament .
