Heinrich Kadelburg
Heinrich Kadelburg ( 14 February 1856 in Pest - 13. July 1910 in Marienbad ) was an Austrian stage actor , director for and -intendant .
Life
Heinrich Kadelburg, brother of the actor Gustav Kadelburg , began his acting career in Königsberg and was later engaged on several outstanding theaters, including in Karlsruhe, Petersburg and Vienna. He embarked for America, worked in New York and San Francisco and led the first German actor company through the new world.
On the occasion of the establishment of the German Volkstheater in Vienna in 1889, he was won over for this stage, where he made his debut as "Graf Palmay" in Famous Woman .
Kadelburg, who initially appeared as a bon vivant , later worked almost exclusively as a director and was extremely meritorious at the Volkstheater.
From 1908 he was also co-director of the Carltheater .
