Heinrich Krigar (painter)

Heinrich Krigar (born May 7, 1806 in Berlin ; † July 7, 1838 there ) was a German painter .

Life

Little is known about Krigar's life. From 1824 Krigar was a student at the Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin , from 1824 or 1826/27 to 1836 a student in Wilhelm Wach's studio . From 1826 to 1836 he took part regularly in the Berlin Academy exhibitions, around 1836/37 a study trip to Belgium , Holland and a stay in Paris. In Paris he was probably a student in Paul Delaroche's studio .

  • Cinderella with pigeons reading the peas, around 1836, whereabouts unknown (Boetticher)
