Heinrich Krumbhaar

Heinrich Krumbhaar (born August 12, 1867 in Liegnitz ; † May 11, 1939 there ) was a German newspaper publisher.

Life

After graduating from the humanistic royal high school of the Liegnitz Knight Academy , Heinrich Krumbhaar studied political science and law at the universities of Munich, Leipzig and Berlin. In 1886 he became a member of the Isaria Corps . In 1889 he was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. In 1890 he joined his father's publishing company, H. Krumbhaar , and became the publisher of the Liegnitzer Tagblatt . He took over the management of the publishing house after the death of his father.

In 1921 Krumbhaar became chairman of the Association of German Newspaper Publishers , to which he had belonged since 1904. After the National Socialist seizure of power, he resigned from this office.

From 1900 to 1923 he was a member of the Liegnitz city council.
