Heinrich Löffler (politician, 1890)

Heinrich Löffler (born April 19, 1890 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † July 10, 1966 in Hameln ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Heinrich Löffler completed an apprenticeship as a book printer. He participated in the First World War from 1914 to 1918. After the end of the war he returned to his profession. From 1926 he worked as a manager of social democratic party newspapers. In the Buchdruckerverband he took on the position of district chairman, he was a member of the trade union and a member of the SPD. He was first arrested in 1933, but then released. After the end of the Second World War he founded the trade union in Hameln. He became councilor of the city of Hameln. From April 20, 1947 to May 5, 1959 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (1st to 3rd electoral period).
