Heinrich LXI. Reuss (born December 8, 1784 in Köstritz , † August 29, 1813 near Kulm ) was Count and Hereditary Prince Reuss of Köstritz .

Life

Heinrich LXI. was the son and heir of Prince Heinrich XLIII. Reuss zu Köstritz (older branch) and his wife Countess Luise Reuss zu Ebersdorf.

Heinrich initially served as a cavalry officer in Austria. According to the demands of the Rhine Confederation , which his father had joined in 1807, Köstritz had to put a contingent of 450 men in the service of Napoleon , the Heinrich LXI. commanded.
