Heinrich Lantz

Heinrich Viktor Lantz (born December 2, 1820 , † April 27, 1901 in Rome ) was a German manor owner and parliamentarian.

Henry Victor Lantz, son of Johann Ludwig Lantz (1799-1823) and Isabelle Lantz (1800-1873), born Lenders, studied 1840 jurisprudence at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn . In 1842 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . After completing his studies, he lived as a landowner on the family estate "Haus Lohausen", today Lantz'scher Park in Düsseldorf-Lohausen near Kaiserswerth .

From 1855 to 1858 Lantz sat as a member of the constituency of Düsseldorf 7 in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the Catholic faction.

Lantz was married to Mathilde, born Ulrich von Bredelar (1834–1878), who had died at the age of 44 and had two children, Theodor (1859–1908) and Isabella. In her honor he had a chapel with a family tomb built in the park. Most recently he lived in Munich .
