Heinrich Magnani (born January 24, 1899 in Ettlingen , † July 2, 1979 in Hettingen ) was a German Catholic priest . He founded the Neue Heimat Baden as the first non-profit building cooperative after the war and the children's and youth village Klinge in Seckach .

Life

Magnani was the second of four children of the builder Enrico Angelo Magnani and his wife Maria Magnani, née Nelles. From 1916 to 1919 he was a volunteer soldier in the First World War. After graduating from high school in 1919/1920, he studied theology in Freiburg and was ordained a priest in 1926. From November 6, 1935 Magnani worked in Hettingen, initially as a parish administrator, from 1938 as a pastor.
