Heinrich Meyer (press manager)

Heinrich Meyer (* 1948 in Scheeßel ) is a German press manager.

He finished studying business administration in Hamburg in 1971 with a degree in business administration.

Subsequently, he was auditor and tax advisor at Treuarbeit AG 1971–1977, head of finance, accounting and procurement at Stadtwerke Essen 1977–1980, and division manager and authorized signatory for finance and accounting at Wuppertaler Stadtwerke 1981–1990. 1994–1998 he was managing director of the Econ publishing group and ECON + LIST publishing group.

Heinrich Meyer was managing director of Rheinisch-Westfälische Verlagsgesellschaft mbH (1991–2018), managing director of the NRZ Press House Foundation (1994–2018), managing director of Zeitungsverlag Niederrhein GmbH & Co. KG, Essen (2000–2018) and managing director of Ostthüringer Zeitung GmbH & Co. KG, Gera.

Since 2000 he has been editor of the NRZ ( Neue Ruhr Zeitung / Neue Rhein Zeitung).
