Leonhard Heinrich Mylius (born October 15, 1696 in Leipzig ; † February 4, 1721 there ) was a German medic .

Life

Leonhard Heinrich Mylius was born in Leipzig on October 15, 1696; he came from a family of scholars. At the Academy Leipzig he received the degree of already on June 1, 1715 philosophical bachelor , on 14 February of the following year he became the philosophy Magister , a short time later bachelor of medicine. He received a licentiate in medicine on October 22, 1717, and only six days later he was given a doctorate in medicine. He only wrote one work, a dissertation . In it, he treats a girl who was born with encephalocele and was only three days old. Mylius died unmarried on February 4, 1721 at the age of 25 in Leipzig; he had earned a total of five degrees in the last six years of his life.
