Heinrich Otto Wilhelm Eltester

Heinrich Otto Wilhelm Eltester (* 1819 in Berlin ; † October 2, 1892 ibid) was a German lawyer and president of the Marienwerder Higher Regional Court .

Life

Eltester passed the Abitur in 1838 at the Joachimsthalschen Gymnasium . In 1847 he became a court assessor. In 1850 he came to Neustadt / Dosse as a district judge and in 1853 to Alt-Landsberg. In 1860 he was promoted to director of the district court in Graudenz. In 1866 he was transferred to Berlin in the same position. In 1867 he became President of the City Court in Königsberg. In 1872 he became Vice-President of the Court of Appeal in Frankfurt an der Oder. In 1875 he was appointed President of the Court of Appeal in Halberstadt. With the Reich Justice Acts in 1879, he became President of the Marienwerder Higher Regional Court. In 1889 he was honored with the title Real Secret Chief Justice. He died in office.
