Heinrich Rabien
Heinrich Rabien (* 1843 ; † 1913 in Geestemünde ) was a German community leader and mayor.
biography
In 1880, Rabien succeeded Christian Ludwig as the community leader of Geestemünde . During his tenure, the place grew and in 1889 the two neighboring communities Geestendorf and Geestemünde were united; they carried the name Geestemünde. The new community now had 15,426 inhabitants. In 1885 Geestemünde also became the administrative seat of the new Geestemünde district .
He was followed in 1889 as Mayor Hermann Bleßmann in office.
