Heinrich Raupach (born in the 20th century) was a German fencer .

Career

Heinrich Raupach was a member of the fencing department of the Gymnastics Club in Hanover , in whose ranks he successfully practiced his sport in both individual and team combat. He fought with both the foil and the saber .

However, he achieved his greatest successes in team fencing with the saber. The team of the Hanover gymnastics club was the first German champion in saber team fencing in 1951. The team repeated this success uninterruptedly in the following years until 1955.

For this success, he and the saber team (Raupach, Willy Fascher , Klaus Dieter Güse , Paul Hirschring , Richard Liebscher , Siegfried Rossner and Helmut Wollermann ) of the TK Hanover were awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Theodor Heuss on January 12, 1956 .
