Heinrich Remigius Sauerländer (publisher, 1821)

Heinrich Remigius Sauerländer (born February 25, 1821 in Frankfurt am Main , † October 12, 1896 there ) was a German publisher .

In 1864, Sauerländer took over the management of JD Sauerländer's publishing house in Frankfurt am Main from his father Johann David Sauerländer (1789–1869) and moved to Finkenhofstrasse 2. Johann David Sauerländer continued to look after his printing company, which was sold in 1867. Heinrich Remigius Sauerländer published not only works of fiction and magazines, but also increasingly religious works; among other things he published the works of Anton Hungari . After his death, his son Robert David Sauerländer (1866–1962) took over the publishing house, which had worked there since 1893.
