Heinrich Sauer (born April 21, 1905 in Grotenburg near Detmold, † February 12, 1966 in Detmold ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the Oberrealschule Leopoldinum and obtaining the upper secondary qualification, Heinrich Sauer was trained as a banker in Detmold. He then acted as managing director of the “Kaiserhof” hotel in Detmold until 1932 .

In 1923 Sauer joined the NSDAP, which he rejoined after its temporary ban in 1925. In 1932 he took over his first public office when he became a city councilor in Detmold. In the state election in Lippe in 1933 , Sauer received a mandate.

Sauer ran in the Reichstag elections on March 29, 1936 as a merchant and NSKK brigade leader for the NSDAP, but did not enter the National Socialist Reichstag at the time.

In 1938 Sauer also became a member of the People's Court and from April 1938 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945 he was also a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 6 (Pomerania).

Since April 11, 1938, Sauer was also in charge of the central engine group. From August 1942 he was the leader of the Northeast Motor Group. In the NSKK he reached the rank of Obergruppenführer.

After the outbreak of World War II he did military service until 1942.
