Heinrich Schäfer (politician, 1794)

Heinrich Christian Schäfer (born November 17, 1794 in Neersen ; † May 4, 1870 there ) was a German innkeeper and politician .

Schäfer was the son of the Mittelköthner Johann Henrich Schäfer and his wife Anna Dorothea nee Schulz. He married Katharine Louise Friederike Lindemann on January 28, 1819 in Merxhausen. Schäfer was a judge, later mayor in Neersen, Mittelköthner, innkeeper and cigar manufacturer, also in Neersen.

From 1849 to 1859 he was a member of the special state parliament for the Principality of Pyrmont .
