The Selbukta (Norwegian for Robben Bay is) a bay in front of the Princess Martha Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It is located at the northeastern end of the Riiser-Larsen Ice Shelf immediately south of Cape Norvegia .
The Norwegian polar explorer Hjalmar Riiser-Larsen discovered them in 1930 and named them after the seals found in large numbers in the bay.
