Heinrich Schröder (botanist)

Heinrich Schröder (born November 13, 1873 in Hohenheim , † December 8, 1945 in Tübingen ) was a German botanist, professor of botany and rector of the Hohenheim Agricultural University .

Live and act

Schröder studied and obtained his doctorate in 1904. phil. at the University of Bonn, where he completed his habilitation in 1907 and became a lecturer in botany and plant physiology. In 1912 he accepted the call to the botany professorship at the University of Kiel and in 1922 at the Hohenheim Agricultural University . In the years 1925-26 and 1931-32 he was rector of the university, in 1939 he was retired.
