Heinrich Schwab Publishing House

The Heinrich Schwab Verlag is a German esoteric publishing house based in Argenbühl . The main focus of the publishing program are classics of yoga and eastern philosophy, esotericism, borderline sciences , help in life, lifestyle, breathing therapies, naturopathy, alternative medicine and writings on organic horticulture and positive thinking.

The publishing house was founded in October 1926 by Heinrich Schwab as Lebensweiser Verlag Pfister und Schwab in Gettenbach near Gelnhausen . From 1956 it operated as Heinrich Schwab Lebensweiser Verlag und Druckerei . In 1964 the publishing house was relocated to Schopfheim and 1978 to Eglofstal / Argenbühl . After the publisher's death in 1983, the publisher was managed by Gisela Prym-von Becherer until 1999. Then it was converted into a KG and in 2011 into Heinrich Schwab Verlag GmbH & Co. KG .

From the 1950s, the publishing house was primarily important as a yoga publishing house, where numerous works by Sivananda appeared (some books also appeared under the imprint of Sivananda Press ).

Imprints of the publisher were for the respective magazines Lebensweiser Verlag , Yoga-Edition , Edition Welt and Wissen and for some book titles the Avalun-Verlag .
